- The Scale is free for every team. Pro is a paid plan with a 30-day trial and a 14-day refund window.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Van Maanen Ventures LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("PinPoint," "we," "us"), N2255 Clements Rd, La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601. They cover your use of the PinPoint website at wrestlingpinpoint.com, the PinPoint app at app.wrestlingpinpoint.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can use PinPoint
- Coaches. You must be at least 18 and a coach, staff member or administrator of the team you set up. If you set up a team for a school or club, you confirm you are authorized by that school or club to do so.
- Athletes. Athletes must be at least 13. If PinPoint offers athlete sign-in for your team, an athlete's account is created or approved by the athlete's coach.
- Under 13. The Service is not intended for anyone under 13. Coaches must not enter information about athletes under 13.
2. Your account
Keep your login private and don't share it. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
3. Coach responsibilities for athlete information
When a coach enters athlete information (names, weights, weigh-ins, notes, results), the coach confirms that:
- the coach has the right to enter it, including any permission the school, club, athlete or parent requires; and
- the information is used only to coach that team.
When PinPoint is used by a school, we handle student information on the school's behalf and only for the school's purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. PinPoint shows information. Coaches make the decisions.
PinPoint organizes weigh-ins, shows pace and trends against guidelines such as NFHS and WIAA rules, and offers AI-generated suggestions (Pro). PinPoint is not medical, nutritional or health advice, and it is not a substitute for a physician, athletic trainer or the official weight-management program your state association requires. All decisions about an athlete's weight, diet, training and competition belong to the coach, the athlete, and the athlete's family and medical providers. 5. Your data
Your team's data belongs to your team. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't sell it. You can export your weigh-ins (for example to your own Google Sheet) and ask us to delete your team at any time.
6. Free and Pro plans
- The Scale (free) is available at no charge. We may change or end free features with reasonable notice.
- PinPoint Pro is a paid plan. It may start with a free trial (30 days from when Pro is turned on for your team). After the trial, Pro continues only if you choose to pay.
- Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you buy. Pro is billed per team, per season. It does not renew automatically: before each new season we will email you to ask whether you want to continue.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. If PinPoint Pro isn't right for your team, you can get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. After that, payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
Don't: share logins; enter information you don't have the right to enter; use PinPoint to harass, shame or pressure any athlete; try to access another team's data; probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or use it for anything illegal.
8. AI features
Pro's Assistant Coach uses an AI model to answer questions about your own team's data. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as suggestions and use your own judgment (see Section 4).
9. Our property
The Service, its design, software and brand belong to Van Maanen Ventures LLC. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your team. Feedback you send us may be used to improve PinPoint without obligation to you.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the Service and these Terms. If we make a material change to the Terms, we will notify coaches by email or in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change. You may stop using PinPoint at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limit of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, VAN MAANEN VENTURES LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from a claim arising out of information you entered without the right to do so, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law
Wisconsin law governs these Terms. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving La Crosse County, Wisconsin.
